Coloring Book

Sweet Dreams at the Hospital  A Coloring and Activity Book is available for children about to undergo anesthesia and surgery. Put your child's mind at ease with this wonderfully written and illustrated story! 

Written by Marjorie Stamler Bergemann, CRNA, a long-time AANA member, and illustrated by Karen Monckton, the 27-page book is filled with pictures to color, plus a connect the dots, a "hospital adventure" maze, and a picture-word match game. Two pages of introductory material for parents include a brief biography of the author, information about the AANA and CRNAs, and a discussion on the purpose of the coloring book. Although the theme of the coloring and activity book is based on a hospital visit, the information about anesthesia and surgery is applicable to most surgical settings. 

Sweet Dreams at the Hospital is available to healthcare professionals as well as the general public. Single copies may be obtained free of charge from the AANA Bookstore, and quantities can be purchased at cost. The price for a package of 10 coloring books is $17.50, plus shipping and handling.
