  • We encourage you to become familiar with the existing elements of the MoANA website, and offer suggestions for ways in which we can continue to improve this valuable digital resource.

LINKS
1.        Members are invited to use RSVP LINKS for MoANA meetings and events that are posted on this website.  A RSVP e-mail will go immediately to Carol Kemna in our MoANA Office in Jefferson City.  This will help us in planning meetings and events.
2.        If you would like to recommend an anesthesia link for the website, it will be posted after it has been approved. 
3.        You will notice that we have many political links to influence our elected leaders in our "endeavor to persevere".
 
SUBMITTING INFO TO BE POSTED
1.        Members will be able to submit event information to be posted immediately to the website on a same-day basis. Events can be posted in the calendar section for your region, or for general publication on the website.
2.        Important Hot Topics/Breaking News/Member Alerts will be posted to the website as they are made known to us.
3.        A Memoriam section with links will be posted on the website. Please provide as much info on the person with links and/or pictures, or scanned newspaper articles for obituaries.
 
HELP AND SUPPORT
1.        A “quasi” Online Support is currently available! If you need help utilizing one of the features in the website, click on the ONLINE SUPPORT link. I should be able to contact you within minutes, providing cellular service is available.
2.        Peer assistance links.
 
LOGGING IN TO MEMBERS PAGE
1.       We are attempting to eliminate LOGIN issues by members. Only active MoANA members will be allowed to LOGIN to the MEMBER page of the website. LOGIN lists will be updated quarterly.  If you have problems logging in to the Members site, contact ONLINE SUPPORT in the upper right hand corner of any webpage.  Last name is not case sensitive.  Use your AANA number without leading zeroes.
2.        Airway Newsletters and minutes of board meetings will be posted online in the MEMBERS section. 
 
IN THE WORKS
1.        PAC Donation site for political contributions and an updated "List of Contributors". Credit card/PayPal options will be available. One time or recurring payments. 
2.        Submission of articles by students or members for website publication.
3.        Better advertising potential for our sponsors.
4.        A discussion board will be available for member input as to issues affecting our practice. A news area specific to your REGION with legislative links and a map for districts.  
5.        A focus on our MoANA leadership through membership communication via e-mails and website articles "Notes from the Board" & Messages from the President. An archival area will be provided for members to review previous info. We would like to assign MoANA leadership a MoANA e-mail service for all our correspondence.  Receiving a message from MaryKBaderCRNA@MoANA.org you'll know that it's from our state organization.  This means it will be easier to identify important professional emails amongst the other 600 personal daily e-mails you receive in your mailbox. We will make this perpetual e-mail service available to all MoANA State organization members.
6.        An emphasis on Public Education about nurse anesthesia
7.        A MoANA Store for items of interest at a modest price. 
 
 
PICTURES
1.        A Gallery is available for the many pictures that we have taken at our events and meetings. The Gallery is for ALL to enjoy.  Students can place pictures on the STUDENT or the GALLERY pages.  Please TAG your pictures with information before sending them for upload to the website.  A date with that info would help.
 
 
WEBSITE ADMINISTRATORS
1        Web site administrators can download web site instructions by clicking here.
2.        A user name and password can be received via e-mail if you have been notified as to your selection as an administrator. The current administrators are: Gary Williams, Mary Kay Bader, Jeannie Skibiski, Adriane Fain, Robert Walsh, Carol Kemna, Sally Poepsel, Leslie Jacobs, Vicki Coopmans. Please reply to the RSVP email you received from me several weeks ago.
